Music & Movement Storytime Class

Don’t miss out on our Music & Movement class happening on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!

This is a great class for your toddler. If you’re interested in your child building literacy and communication skills through songs, finger plays, group book reading and movement activities – you need to attend these classes!

Classes will meet on Mondays at the Orem Public Library from 10:00-10:45am starting July 10, 2023 and ending on July 17, 2023.

Classes will meet on Wednesdays at the Eagle Mountain Public Library from 10:15-11:00am starting July 12, 2023 and ending July 19, 2023. Registration is REQUIRED. Contact aapplegate@kotm.org to register.

Classes will also meet on Fridays at the Lehi Public Library from 10:30-11:15am starting July 14, 2023 and ending July 21, 2023.

Sibshops of Utah County

Kids On The Move is excited to announce that Sibshops of Utah County will be resuming in person workshops! Sibshops is provided by Kids On The Move and sponsored in part by the BYU McKay School of Education and the Foundation for Enriching Families with Disabilities.

Sibshops is a recreational workshop for typically developing children ages 7-13 who have a sibling with special needs. It is an opportunity to provide peer support, information and friendship to siblings in a lively, recreational setting. Siblings get to gather together and share the good, bad and so-so parts of having a sibling with special needs with other kids who get it.

We meet together the second Saturday of each month from 10-12:30pm at Kids On The Move in Orem, UT. Upcoming dates for 2022 include January 14, February 11, March 11, April 15, May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12, September 9, October 14, and November 11, 2023. Preregistration is required and the cost is $5 per person which includes lunch and all materials. Great Beginnings Class

Set your child up for language learning success by attending our free Great Beginnings course!

This two week course will teach you how to provide a language rich environment for your little one. Learn how to build a strong foundation for language development as well as tips and tricks for helping a toddler learn how to talk. This is a great class for both moms and dads to attend as well as any other close adult caregivers.

This class is held at Kids On The Move’s Orem location from 6:30-8:00pm.

2 week session dates for 2023 are: January 10 & 17, March 14 & 21, May 9 & 16, July 11 & 18, September 12 & 19, and November 7 & 14.

Floortime Class

This parent class meets once a week (1.5 hours) for 3 weeks. Parents learn how to enhance communications between parent and child through play and social interactions with an emphasis in problem solving and complex communication strategies.

Class is located at Kids On The Move’s Orem location, 475 West 260 North Orem, UT 84057. Cost is $10 per class.
