Grow, Play, and Learn: Early Childhood Development Classes in Utah
Support your child’s growth through our comprehensive learning opportunities. Whether you’re looking for parent-child classes like Music & Movement or evidence-based workshops like Floortime, we provide the community and expertise to help every child reach their full potential. Currently we offer 4 different classes.
Don’t miss out on our Music & Movement class happening on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays! This is a free class.
This is a great class for your toddler. If you’re interested in your child building literacy and communication skills through songs, finger plays, group book reading and movement activities – you need to attend these classes!
Mondays Classes at the Orem Public Library from 10:00-10:45am starting from January 26 – April 20, 2026. (*No class Feb 16 & April 6).
Wednesday Classes at the Eagle Mountain Public Library from 10:15-11:00am starting from January 28 – April 22, 2026. (*No class on April 8) **Registration is required. Contact Ashley at aapplegate@kotm.org to register the Wednesday class.
Friday classes at the Lehi Programming Building (265 N 400 W Lehi) from 10:30-11:15am starting January 30 – April 24, 2026. (*No class on April 10)

Kids on the Move is excited to announce that Sibshops of Utah County will be resuming in person workshops! Sibshops is provided by Kids on the Move and sponsored in part by the BYU McKay School of Education and the Foundation for Enriching Families with Disabilities.
Sibshops is a recreational workshop for typically developing children ages 7-13 who have a sibling with special needs. It is an opportunity to provide peer support, information and friendship to siblings in a lively, recreational setting. Siblings get to gather together and share the good, bad and so-so parts of having a sibling with special needs with other kids who get it.
We meet together the second Saturday of each month (except December) from 10am – 12:30pm at Kids on the Move in Orem, UT. The dates for 2026 include:
Jan 10, Feb 14, March 14, April 18, May 9, June 13, July 11, Aug 8, Sept 12, Oct 10, Nov 14

Set your child up for language learning success by attending our free Great Beginnings course!
This two-day training course is designed for parent/care-giver. The class will teach you how to provide a language rich environment for your little one. Learn how to build a strong foundation for language development as well as tips and tricks for helping a toddler learn how to talk. This is a great class for both moms and dads to attend as well as any other close adult caregivers.
This class is held at Kids on the Move’s Orem location, 475 West 260 North Orem, UT 84057, from 6:30-8:00pm.

This parent class meets once a week (1.5 hours) for 2 weeks. Parents learn how to enhance communications between parent and child through play and social interactions with an emphasis in problem solving and complex communication strategies.
Class is located at Kids on the Move’s Orem location, 475 West 260 North Orem, UT 84057. Cost is $10 per class.
