Kids On The Move is excited to announce that Sibshops of Utah County will be resuming in person workshops! Sibshops is provided by Kids On The Move and sponsored in part by the BYU McKay School of Education and the Foundation for Enriching Families with Disabilities.
Sibshops is a recreational workshop for typically developing children ages 7-13 who have a sibling with special needs. It is an opportunity to provide peer support, information, and friendship to siblings in a lively, recreational setting. Siblings get to gather together and share the good, bad and so-so parts of having a sibling with special needs with other kids who get it.
We meet together the second Saturday of each month from 10-12:30pm at Kids On The Move in Orem, UT. Upcoming dates for 2021 include September 11, October 9 and November 13. Preregistration is required and the cost is $5 per person which includes lunch and all materials. Contact Jessica at jnix@kotm.org to register.
