Kids On The Move has a specialty library of child development resources with an in-depth collection on:
- Child development
- Childhood disabilities
- Children’s books to help children learn about and understand disabilities
- Special education laws, family rights
- Including children with disabilities in regular education settings.
- Advocating for children with disabilities
- Intervention strategies
- Special education
Everyone is welcome to use KOTM materials on-site. Families currently enrolled for KOTM services have free checkout privileges, but must register. General public wanting checkout must pay a $12 annual membership fee with their registration. Register in person with the librarian during regular operating hours.
How long is the check out time?
All items may be checked out for 3 weeks.
How many items may be checked out at a time?
Only 2 Signing Time DVDs or toys may be checked out at a time. There is no limit on books and other materials.
Are there overdue fines?
All general library materials have a $.10 per day fine. The toys have a $.25 per day fine.
Can items be renewed over the phone?
Yes, so long as no one has put a reserve on the item.
Is there a book drop box?
There is a book drop box located in the circle driveway on the north side of the single story portion of the building. Toys should not be put in the drop box, but must be carried inside.
