Sibshops of Utah County

Kids on the Move is excited to announce that Sibshops of Utah County will be resuming in person workshops! Sibshops is provided by Kids on the Move and sponsored in part by the BYU McKay School of Education and the Foundation for Enriching Families with Disabilities.

Sibshops is a recreational workshop for typically developing children ages 7-13 who have a sibling with special needs. It is an opportunity to provide peer support, information and friendship to siblings in a lively, recreational setting. Siblings get to gather together and share the good, bad and so-so parts of having a sibling with special needs with other kids who get it.

We meet together the second Saturday of each month from 10-12:30pm at Kids on the Move in Orem, UT. Upcoming dates for 2025 include January 11, February 8, March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, and November 8, 2025. Preregistration is required and the cost is $5 per person which includes lunch and all materials.
